Materiales para la historia del deporte (e-ISSN 2340-7166) brings together studies and researches related to the origins and evolution of the physical activities, with the main object of promoting its dissemination in the scientific community of Spanish speaking and recovering part of our common historical sports heritage.

Authors who submit to this journal agree to the following terms:
a) Authors will retain their copyright and grant the journal the right of first publication of their work, which will simultaneously be subject to:
- Through 2021, the Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-ShareAlike license, which allows third parties to share the work provided that the author and its first publication in this journal are credited.
- Starting in 2022, MHD will switch to the Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivatives 4.0 International License, which allows third parties to share the work provided that the author and its first publication in this journal are credited. It only permits downloading and sharing the original work with proper attribution, without modifying it or using it commercially.
